When I recently turned 27, I dug out that list and remembered the type of person I wanted to be by my 30th birthday - fun/exciting, intelligent, confident, pretty, and grounded. A few years ago I created a list of 30 things I wanted to do before I turned 30. When I recently turned 27, I dug out that list and remembered the type of person I wanted to be by my 30th birthday - fun/exciting, intelligent, confident, pretty, and grounded. I'm too young to be thinking "what if?" or "if only." So here I am, reaching for my first two big milestones before I reach the big goal at 30.

I have 130lbs. to lose which I intend to accomplish by the end of next year (2012) by making small changes each week, exercising regularly, counting my calories, and keeping positive.

I will remember to keep myself motivated by setting weekly goals
I will not let my feelings derail my efforts or dictate my level of effort
I will cut myself some (not too much!) slack and re-start when necessary

My first tiny goal: Drink 8 glasses of water a day and stay under 1700 calories a day.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 1lb/ week. I know it is not ambitious but it is something attainable.

Long term, I am working to get to a regular size 16, then a 12, then a 6. I want to run a half marathon and I want to wear a bikini for the first time in my life.

My Program:
I am going to stick to tiny goals each week. Every two weeks I am going to add another tiny goal until it builds up to a lifestyle change.
