Time to be my own cheerleader

I have always struggled with commitment on many levels. My primary goal for this next year is to stop contemplating (dreaming) about all I can do and be and just do it! I know that I can. I am really great about being others cheerleaders or even mentors for weight loss. I get them started, guide them and am along for the ride for about 2 months....and then something happens. I am really great about being others cheerleaders or even mentors for weight loss. I get them started, guide them and am along for the ride for about 2 months....and then something happens. They don't need me anymore...they are off and running on their own. This is where I give up. It doesn't happen in a day...its one bad day that leads to other bad days...to weeks to months. My latest project has stuck with the program I suggested for them and is now down almost 60 pounds! I am proud of her...but feel envious and embarrassed. This is of my own doing and I have now recognized my pattern although I have done this too many times to count. My other motivation is that I have a 10 year old daughter that I already see struggling with her self-esteem and her body image. I want to encourage a healthy lifestyle for her and I can only do that by being a part of it myself. Time to hit the reset button! I am in control of what I do the next day, month, year, etc. It is time to encourage myself as I would anyone else1

1. Zumba

2. Walk daily

3. C25K training

4. Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.

5. Track food.(I use MyFitnessPal to track).

6. Burn 500 calories daily

7. Eat between 1200 and 1500 calories daily.

Personal Information:
I am from Pinckney, Michigan which is about 30 minutes outside of Ann Arbor.
I work as a Radiation Therapist and LOVE my job. I graduated last year from Cleary University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
I have 3 kids (10, 16, and 25) and a 6 month old granddaughter!
