-make lifestyle, not just temporary, changes
-fill-up on fresh fruit and veggies
-include some protein with all meals and snacks
-drink 8+cups of water a day
-exercise daily and make it enjoyable so I stick with it taking care to include strength and flexibility training
-read health-related and motivational material on a regular basis to keep me focused
-continue to weigh-in and share the results even if I am not progressing
-get back up every time I fall

Thank you so much. I know what you mean. It's easier to do the right things when you feel good and when you are not having insane cravings and anxiety. Why does it have to be so hard? When I'm doing good it's hard enough but this is terrible. I tell myself this is just a phase and I dont have to give in and eat all that stuff..... but I still do. When I feel like this I really don't care about the weight. I just eat. Mornings are different. I am more in control and don't feel as bad or anxious. That's when it hits me the 25 pounds I've gained in 3 months. That's when I feel terrible about what I'm doing to my body.
