It's A Process

200 to loose. Almost 40 lbs down. I'm on my way!

July 2013 -
For a long time I was in the mid-300's and feeling pretty hopeless about getting back on track. I'm now down 55 lbs. The weight is coming off SLOWLY but consistently.

-make lifestyle, not just temporary, changes







My Program:
-fill-up on fresh fruit and veggies

-include some protein with all meals and snacks

-drink 8+cups of water a day

-exercise daily and make it enjoyable so I stick with it taking care to include strength and flexibility training

-read health-related and motivational material on a regular basis to keep me focused

-continue to weigh-in and share the results even if I am not progressing

-get back up every time I fall

Wishing you all the best and progress toward your goals. I am still trying to get on track but cant seem to settle on a plan. Lost 5 pounds one week. 0 the next week and 1 this week. It's like I forgot how to get results. lol Trying to stay motivated. Hope your summer is going well.

Thank you so much.
I know what you mean. It's easier to do the right things when you feel good and when you are not having insane cravings and anxiety. Why does it have to be so hard? When I'm doing good it's hard enough but this is terrible. I tell myself this is just a phase and I dont have to give in and eat all that stuff..... but I still do. When I feel like this I really don't care about the weight. I just eat. Mornings are different. I am more in control and don't feel as bad or anxious. That's when it hits me the 25 pounds I've gained in 3 months. That's when I feel terrible about what I'm doing to my body.

Thanks for your comment on your blog! And you're right--we care for ourselves so we do the best we can with the options we have available.... and definitely stressed enough!
