About modesty, it is an article for the religious newspaper, not my blog. You did give me an idea though...to publish it on my Sparkpeople blog too. I took the modesty article to heart. I have since bought some long skirts. Alot of the research said to "not make your brother stumble". In other words, don't dress to make a man lust after you.
I used to do weights 3 times a week (try to rotate a few different body parts each time) that was with my 85 lb weight loss journey and it really helped then. I haven't gotten to that point yet, but I plan on adding them back in soon, I have dabbled a few days, nothing serious yet . I do cardio 3-4 times a week, because I am pretty deconditioned and walking daily. I wish you much success in your journey. Gracie
Thanks for checking in with me a couple days ago and sorry it took so long to get back to you. Recently life has felt as though I am treading water and am barely keeping my head above the surface - SparkPeople, as well as my health goals, totally got put on the back burner. I seem to have gotten caught up over the weekend (and set some boundaries with my new board member duties), so it has been nice to put some focus on my health today. I've got a game plan for the rest of the week, so I may not have much time on here, but at least I should get my health needs met. ~ Remmie
