My name is Anna. I'm a 36 year old mother of two boys. Although I love my life, sometimes I feel like the last nine years "happened" to me instead of me purposefully living my life.

I'm here to take back my life by eating healthy, finding balance, organizing my home and planning ahead.

I lost quite a bit of weight with Spark People in 2011, but gained it back over time (and without dedication). My health has started to suffer and I am recognizing a very unhealthy relationship I have with food. I'm back with a vengeance. I want to be fit and an example for my family and I want it now!

“TAKE ACTION! Wanting is not enough; Act upon your goals!
If somebody was watching your day-to-day behavior, would they be able to see what you’re working towards; what your goals are?

Thank you for the comment. I just try and take it one day at a time. We all have bad days (the holiday season was rough for me), but we get into trouble when it becomes a bad week, or month. My goal this year for the holidays was to not put on more than 5 lbs. Some may say I should have shot for no weight gain, but if this site has taught me anything, it is to be realistic with myself. I knew not putting on any weight was unrealistic for me (at this point). Maybe next year. Anyway I met my goal (sounds funny saying this as I gained weight...LOL) of less than 5 lbs. Now it is time to get back to work. Good luck!
