Healthy Me!!!
In the past I was yo-yo active person - active then not active. I love playing soccer and in 2005 I began participating in long distance races (a/k/a marathons). My metabolism has definitely slowed down as a result of being an Attorney and working behind a computer. It is time to kick it back up!!! I am doing it by eliminating a lot of "bad" foods such as diet soda, artificial sweetener (except stevia), and limiting my intake of fattening foods (french fries)! My goal is not a ...

I am doing it by eliminating a lot of "bad" foods such as diet soda, artificial sweetener (except stevia), and limiting my intake of fattening foods (french fries)! My goal is not a 3 or 6 month fix, but rather something I can stick with forever. My goal in 2011 is to drop extra pounds (down to my goal weight), gain a six pack and run like a gazelle or Kenyan, whichever is faster!!! I'm motivated and having trained and ran two half marathons already this year (Disney and Tallahassee), I am ready to roll! I'm using this site primarily to track my fitness, but if I get other benefits (like nutrition and keeping track of my water) then that's good too.
