I am am a working mother of three children who has already lost 25 pounds but needs to loose about 20 more. I recently took a break from working on my Ph.D. to take better care of my health and my family...AND...to get myself in shape enough to wear a bikini on our trip to Orlando in September....!

Ahh, I'm so jealous! My goal is sub 30 for a 5K! Did you train for it or just have a good run? If you trained, what did you do? I've got a race on Saturday, but haven't run in a week. I need to get back out there!

AAAAWWWEEE, thanks for the blog comment! Sometimes I'm a little too critical of myself. When's your next 5K? I try to do one a month so the next one is mid- August. I'm going to start doing temp runs to pick up my pace a bit so HOPEFULLY I'll come in under 30 minutes next time~ emoticon

Hey there! Thanks for the friend add. I've done two 5K's and I'm training for a half marathon in December- yikes! I was reading your page and saw you took a break from your PhD to work on health and family- I did the same, but working on my MBA. We need to keep in touch and keep each other in check!
