A little info about me....my name is Laura. I am 58 years young, a wife, mother and grandmother. My hobbies are gardening, jewelry making and crocheting. I love nature and enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors. I love animals and recently rescued and adopted a Peke-a-Pap puppy who will be a year old in February 2015 and a 2 year old Bengal/Tabby cat.

The following poem about success is a favorite of mine so I thought I would share it.

Success is not a race, be patient.

My Goals:
1) 4-8 glasses of water.
2) 3 healthy meals
3) Stay within my daily WW points.
4) Take all prescribed meds/supplements.
5) Track all foods
6) Track fitness
7) Walk at least 10,000 steps each day.
8) Use spark tools to my
advantage and
connect with teams
and members.



My Program:
Keep a daily diary. Be honest and accountable for each day's events. Track everything I eat and watch my portion sizes. Concentrate on eating more fruits and drink more water. Set small, realistic goals then work to achieve and build on them. Always remember that "My life tomorrow will be the result of my attitudes and the choices I make today."


Personal Information:
In Oct 2011 my husband retired after putting in 30 years as a firefighter/EMT. We decided we needed a change so we sold our house on the Massachusetts seacoast and bought one in a small rural town in the Berkshires. We love it here. Life moves slower and we are surrounded by beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife.
