Have been a single mom since 1995. Two adult "boys". Oldest in university, the youngest trying to figure out life and working full time at a minimum wage job. Hope he figures it out soon. I love to read. I am passionate about my job. I love to travel, and in November of 2013, I was lucky enough to take a trip I've wanted to take since I was in my 20's. I visited Tanzania and Zanzibar! My next trip is either an Amazon River Cruise or Morocco. For the last 4 years, I've gone to the Dominican Republic for an end of winter get away...getting more intolerant of the cold as I get older. I have also been to Cuba several times. Did I mention I have a cat? He's 12 but thinks he's 2.
I love reading. Favourite authors: Patricia Cornwell, Tami Hoag, Michael Connelly to name a few. I read just about anything I can get my hands on. Music: classic rock to jazz. Still can't learn to love classical. Movies: You've Got Mail: Sleepless In Seattle; Hope Floats; Sweet Home Alabama; The Austin Powers Movies; The Mummy & Mummy Returns; .....geez, I could go on and on. I enjoy knitting. I do cross stitch I love photography (maybe someday I'll be able to take a course of some type) I spend too much time at the computer. Need to work on that.
