Hello to all my spark friends i am excited to be part of this wonderful site called spark people the founder has truly developed a treasure that has many valuable gems to discover while on your journey to a healthy and fit person that you are working on becoming. I started in Nov of 2010 on a quest to lose weight because i didn,t like what i saw looking back at me in the mirror. I knew that i needed to alter this image and the only way to do this was to drop some poundage in a few areas that was over loaded with excess junk that i wouldn,t miss if i didn,t own anymore. Thus started my quest to find the person who is hidden deep inside me crying desparately to be let out. I know that this path will not be easy to travel but since i found this site i have met some wonderful people that is making this journey a happy one just to know that their are people that has traveled this road and has successfully reach their destination motivates me not to give up even when things don,t look to promising, i must think positive and keep on pushing everyday and not allow my self to lose focus on what i want to accomplish. I have to keep telling my self that i,m worth it and put all the bad memories of my past behind me cause dwelling on my past can hinder my future i must pick up the broken pieces and mend them together in order to become the person that God desires me to be i thank him every day that he gives me a new start to work at being the best person that i can be cause truth be told if it wasn,t for my faith in God i don,t know where i would be today. I have some internal scares but they are healing slowly but surely cause I don,t let them over power me and try to invade the plans that God has for my life. I called this page a work in progress because i know that we all have been through some struggles in our life that may seem like there is no hope but we must remember that God isn,t finish with us yet and when all is said and done we will come forth as pure gold a work that will have all the finishing touches that will make people marvel at the gleam that shines from within our souls ..........

To recap on my weight lost journey i have went from a size 16 to a 14 and have ventured off and got into a size 12 strechy material. I haven,t lost that much weight since starting spark but i did lose some inches which really makes a differences in how you look in your clothes. I have 20 pounds of excess that is causing me to be at a unhealthy BMI. I know that we are all individuals and that chart is just an estimate of where our weight should be so i,m not stressing about those numbers, i just want to look and feel strong and have energy of a person my age that is not to much to ask for but i have control of how this turns out so i must do all i can possibly do and not let any obstacles keep this work from being completed and getting the seal of approval from ME cause i am the one who has the last words besides the keeper of my soul GOd the father he holds my future in his hands and i trust him with all the decessions he makes for my life ......
