Hi Stina, I don't measure on a regular schedule at this point. I was about every other month for a while or for special occasions, like prepping for 3 month contest at my gym. And NEVER more than once a week on the scale. (it can do evil things). BTW, you don't have to give up on the cocktails, limit yes, but not give up! It's all about switching your mixers!! Flavored vodka with club soda and limes... YUMMY and refreshing!!
Wow, what a great start!! I'm going to stand up on my soap box for a minute... Take some time and get the measurements other than weight. Hips, waist, thigh, arms etc. You can post these under the "Weigh-In and other measurements" button.
Your 6lb drop in the first week is wonderful, and while I don't want to take anything away from that, it won't happen every week. That is when looking at the other measurements will work wonders. There was a 3 month period when I didn't lose an ounce, but I lost almost 13 inches total. If I was just watching the scale, I may have gotten frustrated and given up.
