I am 34 years old and have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. I have exercised regularly in the past, but still ended up hovering around 135lbs. A few months ago, I stopped watching what I ate, and stopped working out. I reached 145lbs and haven't been able to lose more than a pound since. A few months ago, I stopped watching what I ate, and stopped working out. I reached 145lbs and haven't been able to lose more than a pound since. I think my metabolism has changed over the past couple of years, because things that I have done in the past no longer help. I have been with SparkPeople for several years now, but haven't really used all of the resources that it offers. I'm trying to change that, as well as refocus my goals for health and weight. I have the knowledge, tools, and motivation to meet those goals- now it's time to get started!

Just stopping by to check in on you. How's it going? Any helpful hints to share? I'm struggling with my daily calories, although I'm trying not to focus as much on that as I am on adding healthy habits. I'm afraid to focus too much on the food - which will feel like a diet, which will cause me to binge, and so on and so forth! I will get there, though! One small step at a time!
