My Goals:

-To Love Myself the way others love me!
-To make healthy food choices
-To return to a healthy weight and maintain it
-To have fun on this journey and make it a pleasure not a task.
-To meet and appreciate new friends and all they have to share on our common journey to health and happiness!

My Program:
-At the moment I am taking baby steps as I ease back into a wonderful lifestyle change.
-I am planning meals more often opposed to flying by the seat of my pants...and what a seat it is...lol
-I am walking 45-60 minutes 5-6 days a week and intend to incorporate strength training back into my healthy life.
-I am joining a couple of challenge boards and communication on the community message boards.
-I am trying to earn as many sparks points as I can by accomplishing the suggested tasks pretty well daily.
-I am making new friends and sharing their journey whilst they partake in mine. It is ALL GOOD!

Other Information:
The Serenity Prayer has found a place in my life for a very long time. I am not a religious person but I am a believer and I do find that sometimes....it is just what I needed.

I love interacting with others, supporting friends and family through the good times as well as the bad.
I love to browse cookbooks.....way more than on-line as a hobby but am grateful the internet and sp are available at the click of a button!
I love travel, occasional reading, photography, as so much more. Most of all.....I am grateful for my family no matter what our quirks may be.

The food addiction is at least like the others b/c we get that temporary high (as we're enjoying the taste, texture, flavor etc) and then the crash afterwards!!! I've been trying to convince my mind that food is fuel - for years - and my mind still hasn't grabbed hold of that one!!!

Got in my morning workout and ready to start some strength training - love me some sweat!!!! Have a great one!

Thank you my sweet heart....see your prayers are already working for Grandma....have been feeling much better....walked for 15 minutes that is 3 sessions of 5 minutes each with a break of 10 minutes and then did half an hour of chair yoga with the instructors help. Sorry I stole your saying on Buttons feed... I'll try to do better next time!!! And thank you for being an encouragement as always - don't know what I'd do without you :) Never got a workout in today.... was busy though! Alarm is set for 5:45 tomorrow morning so I can get back on track. Guess I just took an impromptu rest day.
Now SMNB, remember.... YOU GO GIRL!!!! Bwahhahhha :)
