StillFlyin - Staying Free

My favorite things to do are (not in any special order):
oil painting, gardening, designing and making costumes for science fiction events, watching/reading science fiction and mystery, walking, and going to the gym with my hubby.

New favorite quote from NEWGOALS2:
A little bit of somethin' is a lot better than a whole lot of nothin'.

Great favorite quote:
"How do you know you're an artist? . . . you need to create as much as you need to breathe." ...

Favorite quote from INTIBLUE's blog:
"Things to be grateful for? Possibilities. The developing skill to make dreams into satisfying realities. The hard but invaluable work of thinking and being positive. Coincidences and happy accidents that remind us to get back to a path we'd prefer to be on."

Another favorite quote from DAWNSYOGAFLOW, "Hang in there, it's a long run, not a short sprint. "

I always check the status feeds to see how you are doing but you have it set to private. So just checking in with you with a hug and hello.

I didn't take your comment as grouchy, sweetie! But I know what you mean, there are days I do very little chatting on here because I know it will come out kind of sarcastic. I catch myself doing it now and then. So far no one has knocked me over the head for it though.

That's just it -- this is a challenge for me, by me, and only me! I don't have to worry about letting anyone down (except myself), don't have to take the time to enter anything anywhere, and that's why I think it will help me. Yesterday was Day #1, and it went fine. Day #2 and #3 will be a bit of a challenge as we're going on a 2-day vacation, so it will be all "eating out." Yikes! But whether the scale goes up or down, it's OK, because my promise is to do the best I can, and make the best choices I can.

Thanks for stopping by and reading! Hugs, Eve

Thanks for the comments on my blog, and it's great to know that the turmeric works so well. I have not been on it long enough to rave about the results I've seen, but I'm sure as the time goes on I will see more and more results. My almost son-in-law is a Urologist and he is the one that recommended it to me -- he goes for a lot of natural healing. And cures are much more important to me than just taking away, or covering up, the pain.

Lucky for me the last couple of days have been pain free and I have my old energy level back -- good thing too as I worked at pulling weeds for about 4 hours straight. Stopped for a sandwich and that's it.

Hugs, Eve
PS I need your first name again, please.
