STILLFLYIN is a SparkPeople Motivator!
My favorite things to do are (not in any special order):
oil painting, gardening, designing and making costumes for science fiction events, watching/reading science fiction and mystery, walking, participating in my many clubs, and going to the gym with my hubby.
Note that StillFlyin is a reference to the Browncoat fandom. I am not a pilot.

Great favorite quote:
"How do you know you're an artist? . . . you need to create as much as you need to breathe." Michael Gormley
Favorite quote from INTIBLUE's blog:
"Things to be grateful for? Possibilities. The developing skill to make dreams into satisfying realities. The hard but invaluable work of thinking and being positive. Coincidences and happy accidents that remind us to get back to a path we'd prefer to be on."
Another favorite quote from DAWNSYOGAFLOW, "Hang in there, it's a long run, not a short sprint. "

The Motivator of the Day. What an accomplishment.
I see you have been a Sparker for nine years. WOW, that is amazing since few are still here from 2006.

“I existed on my own terms. I was different my entire life. Some called me divergent, wild, crazy, unpredictable and unconformed—an apostate to the rules of the majority. I called myself God’s creation and found purpose in the madness. When that day came, I didn’t allow other people to dictate how I should feel or act. I learned there was no shame in imperfection because history had shown being different had the power to change perspectives and eventually the world. This is when I realized that flaws had responsibility. This was the day that I learned I was truly BLESSED.â€

for commenting on my blog :)
The TV thing is definitely something I have to think about. I actually don't watch that much, unless my husband isn't home, but it seems like it's always on with him. If I made it a goal to not watch, or only allowed 1 or 2 movies per week or something similar, it would force me out of the room, and I think I'd get a LOT more accomplished! Seeing as how it's football season, and I just got my Fantasy team set up - the NO TV rule will definitely have to wait!
