Resentment is when you allow your hurts to turn into hates. When those hates simmer in your heart, they create bitterness and you are the only one who suffers. Choose the path of Forgoveness.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. DH seems to be on board with the anti-inflammatory diet -- at least to start it. I shudder every time I have to tell him he can't have something when he starts the diet. At least it's only two weeks. I'm not even considering what will happen if or when he's told he has to cut out another group of foods.
Thanks for visiting my blog, Steven. In response to the comment you posted as a question about fasting being to give something up: Yes and no. Fasting is about coming to a point of surrender to God, trust in Him, and partnership with Him. Giving something up is a way of giving ourselves opportunity to remember that we are seeking the Father so as to achieve the point. The thing we give up should be something that gives us opportunity to come to that place of surrender.
It is good having you back with us. Looking forward to progressing forward in partnership with you. BLESSings.
