November 2014 marks 5 years on Spark for me. I've lost and gained and lost again. I've run 9 half marathons, and one full (and plenty of other fun races!). I also like boxing and hiking, and have been working on lifting more in the past year. I'm taking a break from counting calories and macros, and am just trying to focus on healthy eating. I like paleo, but am not strict at all.

Thanks for the blog post comment! YES I am totally addicted to the dark chocolate/raspberry WW bars, too! They are too good. I don't remember how much sugar is in them, but I'm sure it's not a small amount because they are DELISH. I also LOVE Quest bars!!! I recently discovered them because several fitspo people on Instagram mentioned them, so I recently tried them for myself about a month ago. They are REALLY good! Not too many calories, low sugar, high protein.

By the way - Your progress is amazing and I can't wait until I'm comfortable enough to finally stop counting calories and just eat healthy. Some day!

Also, I was just asked to do a half-marathon for the very first time, and I'm really nervous about it, but I see that you've run several of them. It's not until mid-April 2015 so I do have some time to train. I love seeing other people on SP who are dedicated runners - it totally inspires me to become one, too! (I have run a few 5K's before I had my son in 2012, so this will be a stretch for me, but I'm up for the challenge!)

Thanks for your comment on my “Pedaling a Bulldozer – Fatbike” blog. I am a “winter warrior” out of necessity. Winter is just too darn long! If I am going to be able to ride outside, I have to brave the elements.
