I can do it!

After successfully loosing 10kg, I had to deal with multiple injuries & health problems. On top of that I had to deal with real stress, the kind life just carelessly throws at you. Add perimenopause and you have the result:
I gained 14kg!

Since August 2014 I managed to maintain and even lost 2kg. But still not the success I wanted.

So I am trying something new:
A vegetarian detox diet with the help of a Nutritionist. What does that mean?

1. guidelines on what to eat & how to cook, tailored on my needs
2. Liver detox 2-3 times during the 3 month program
3. Help for RA, Asthma, remainders of the Pancreatitis I had 4 years ago
4. Goals is to loose 15kg. Ok the Nutritionist is talking of 20kg. But my goals is to loose 15kg = 33 pounds

My Goals:
1. Loose weight!
2. Keep blood pressure controlled with diet & exercise
3. Reduce stress at work so that I can concentrate on my eating & exercise. - 4. Get to a point where I can play golf once during - still not achieved


My Program:
Diet, try to stick around 1200-1500kcal,
exercise:
2 x gym per week
2 times walk for 30 min per week
Golf every weekend and whenever else I get a chance

Hi Steph...

Been busy and trying to get healthy. How are things your way? It has been a up and down winter here. Cold then warm then cold snow, rain, snow. I am doing better with my heart problems and DH is doing much better with his heart problems.
I have not forgotten you. Thanks for all your comments on different things.

I know I have been missing from Spark for such a long time. I am sorry that I did not see your comment. Thank you for your kindness and for not forgetting about me.
Since my DH's friend dropped my laptop, I am last on the pecking order of family members who get to use the home computer. It is seriously time for me to read less news, and get Sparking again. (Sparks does not give me heartburn like CNN does)
Instead of exercising at the gym today, I am getting online at the internet café and catching up a bit.
