I want to lose the weight the right way, through a nutritious diet and exercise. I want this to become a lifestyle for myself and my family so we can be healthy together!

Starting at 39.4 BMI, 265 pounds (highest known, estimated highest is 280), 43.5 inches at waist.

My Goals:
1. Lose 100 pounds.
2. Become more active outside: sports, camping, biking, hiking, etc.
3. Give up fast food and soda.
4. Run on the beach with my son without feeling self-conscious or having to stop to catch my breath.
5. Do 10 real push-ups.
6. Use my elliptical for an hour.
7. Size 8 pants.

My Program:
I am trying to consume an about 1600 calories/day. I do 3-4 days of at least 40 minutes of cardio, and I work on my arms and legs 3 days/week each. I also work on my core every time I do cardio. I focus on nutritionally balanced meals and exercise in order to lose weight the right way and keep it off!

Personal Information:
I live in Minneapolis with my husband and 4 year old son. I work as an accountant. I enjoy spending time with my family; we go to the zoos, museums, parks, and any other places and events we can find.

Yes, I have others. I have 5 in my left ear (3 at the bottom, 2 at the top), 3 in my right (1 in the bottom, 1 at the top, 1 in the tragus), and my tongue. lol

That's awesome that you have your septum pierced, too! I haven't noticed it in your pics, though! Its funny, I quite often forget I have it, since I've had it so long! I was at a spa yesterday (girls' weekend) and realized that I haven't taken it out in 8 years! (I've had it for 15.)

Any other piercings?

If it's worked before, I'm sure it will work again!! Just don't give up! Maybe you can also do more intense cardio? Or incorporate a strength training regime? Mix it up a bit!

Before, I was easily losing 3-4 pounds a week. That lasted a long time! Now, I've been at about 2 pounds a week for the past month. I'm glad the weight is still coming off though!

That is very cool that we have similar goals! Congrats on the approximate 60 pound loss so far! I think we can definitely motivate each other! Have you noticed your weight loss slowing down recently? Mine most definitely has over the past 2 weeks. I'm not discouraged, just annoyed! And yes, I am no where near 5'9'', I'm only 5'2''.
