Long term, my goal is to lose at least 165 pounds... but that's really, really long term lol.
Short term, I want to lose about 30 pounds soon - which would put my weight at a level I haven't seen for way too long. My hope is that doing what it takes to get that far will make me ready & able to be more active & keep losing the weight.
What I really really want to do is run, but I'm just not physically capable of that level of activity - yet!
I have cut out sodas (former Diet Mountain Dew-aholic lol) and am drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily.
I'm concentrating on cooking more and finding healthy, easy foods to prepare to keep me on track. I'm basically pre-diabetic, so healthy for me means low-carb, high protein, high fiber. It's pretty impossible to find convenient open-a-box-&-dump-it-in-a-pot sort of foods that are healthy!
I want to work my way from the easy, seated exercises on this site up to more challenging activities.
