My Goals:
My goal is to reach 160lbs... that's 200lbs lower than my highest weight in 2008. I dropped 60lbs over the next year after that but since then my weight has just fluctuated right around 300lbs. That is not and cannot be acceptable. I'm now working toward not only losing the weight but reversing my type 2 diabetes.
My Program:
With the help of my parents, who have both been rather successful through SP, I am working toward my weight-loss goal as well as training to walk/job the P.F. Chang half marathon in January 2013... it's gonna be a lot of work but I'm super excited! :)
Personal Information:
My name is Stephanie, I'm 27 years old and I haven't been healthy a day in my life. I've always struggled with my weight, even since I was a kid. At age 21 I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This should have been my wake up call but it wasn't. When I graduated college at age 23 I weighed 360lbs... Thank God I'm not at that point anymore and I never will be again!
Other Information:
God is #1 in my life and He has blessed me beyond belief with amazing family and friends. I work 2 jobs: I am the Youth Leader at Abundant Grace and I am the Assistant Manager at Berean Christian Stores. I do more than enough to keep me busy lol. My friends often refer to me as a social butterfly... and they're right :) I love people and I love helping people. I guess that's why both of my jobs are such good fits for me haha :)
