My One Way Mission

Hey everyone! My name is Steph and I'm twenty-two years old. I've joined SparkPeople before. I lost 70lbs using SparkTeens back when I was in high school. I ended up gaining nearly all of that back when I stopped using SparkPeople, so I've decided to start again.

Hey everyone! My name is Steph and I'm twenty-two years old. I've joined SparkPeople before. I lost 70lbs using SparkTeens back when I was in high school. I ended up gaining nearly all of that back when I stopped using SparkPeople, so I've decided to start again.

I am here because I need to lose 171lbs and I don't know that I can do it without the help of Sparkpeople and the wonderful people on it. I can honestly say that I have never been at a healthy weight in my life (except prior to the age of 5). It's come with many self-esteem issues and a binge eating disorder, but I'm ready to work through those. It's going to be a long journey, but I'm excited to see what it will bring me. That's where the name "Steph By Step" comes from. With each step toward the healthier direction, I'm going to become the real Steph.

My Program:
Doing a version of the Atkins diet so that I can learn to eat regular scheduled meals, to watch what I eat, and to make healthier choices.

Not sure on my exercise program yet. Possibly just starting out with walking a few times a week.
