I want to reach 140 pounds. I turn 30 in January, so I want to start this new chapter of my life healthy and fit! I also want to wear and be comfortable in shorts.

I track everything I eat and I exercise at least 5 days a week by doing workout DVDs, walking and Zumba.

Heya ~

Not sure how much you are online...but I myself FINALLY got back...after near 2 months AWOL. (Work and home things kept me busy).

How are things going with you? How is school going? (I will update you with how wifey is doing later....she just started a few weeks ago...and if its like your coursework...which I suspect it is...or was, as you are a term ahead of her I believe....then oh my word...you all are going at breakneck speed!)

I just wanted to stop by and send a hello :)

Hi Steph!

I peeked at your wall on the way down to commenting and saw the progress bar. You're getting so close! Go you!

No worries about being MIA, life has been busy here too, so I haven't been on as much as usual. I've just had a lot of outside things going on and less time to sit down at the computer.

My relief from the running pain comes with walking and resting it. From what I've read it's an over-use injury. So I think I'm done with running for the season. On to cycling and swimming (while the gym membership lasts), so we'll see. I don't like that option as much, but at least it's movement. :)

How have you been? Have you been able to run at all or find other exercises that work for you?

Hi Steph!

I haven't had a chance to investigate new socks yet. Definitely some of mine are better than others. Though I think it's the insoles I bought. I got them at a drugstore instead of a sports shop and the top part (against my foot) is leather - not good for wicking moisture (as my socks actually are). I think I actually might head into town this evening and see if I can't find something and if I fail at that stop in a bigger town on the way to English camp this weekend.

Wow! That's a big increase. Are you enjoying classes?

Not exercising in a while? That's tough, even my attitude is better when I exercise a bit. I hope you can find some time to do small things, even if you can't run.
