Hi! I'm Tracy...welcome to my journey as I leave behind my double chin, flabby underarm waddle, back fat, muffin top, and the cellulite on my ass that enters the room before I do. I've hung on to these traits long enough and they have not been very good to me! I'm in my very early 40's and 50 lbs overweight and tired of fighting the inevitable, tired of talking about it while eating Krispy Kreme donuts... Time to get healthier after too many years of smoking, drinking, overeating and irresponsible diet practices. I really want to make the lifestyle change now, once and for all.

So this is me -- these are my most recent "before" shots and the only ones I can bring myself to load, but once I am down to my halfway goal, I think I will be confident enough to post a bathing suit picture... but one step at a time! I have a great sense of humor and I'm just looking for support with others who enjoy self-deprecating humor and the understanding of someone who is walking in the same shoes.

Now that I'm older and wiser and fighting the hands of time, I think I will try a COMMON SENSE approach this time. Lucky for me in my head I "feel" and "see" myself as young and fit and vibrant - now I want the external to match the internal.

Personal Information:
Extremely funny and looking to stay motivated with others like me... no sense going it alone, it's going to be hard enough as it is.

Other Information:
10,000 stps = 5 miles
2,000 stps = 1 mile
1 mile = 100 cals burned

10,000 stps/day = 500 cals burned per day

70,000 steps in a week = 3,500 cals burned per week.
