I've got Suuuunshine, on a cloudy daaaaay.

I'm 33. I'm, obviously, a girl. Mom, wife, nurse, daughter, rock star in my car and/or shower, culinary genius (when I follow a recipe exactly as instructed :) ), pet lover, cat tolerator, happy-go lucky-til-you-tick-me-off kinda person.

Lost it (the weight that is, my mind, debatable), got pregnant, gained some of it back, got a baby out of that whole weight gain thing and enjoyed some fabulous 8 Sister's doughnuts in the process, and now I'm back at it.

I'm not whining, apologizing, or beating myself up for gaining weight. I'm just getting back to what worked in the first place, and guess what, it's working. :)

Sparkpeople is a tool. I will not allow it to consume my life, but I am not ruling out the possibility of friendship resulting from this site. I don't spend much time on the computer outside of work.

I love God with all my heart and soul. If you have questions about that whole thing, here I am. If you know who He is, and don't really care, well thats you're choice now, isn't it? If I mention Him in a blog and you don't like it, then don't read it. I'm not here to get into a theological debate and I won't be spouting scripture or be making judgements about other's lives.

My Goals:
Lose 10%.

Get down to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Walk daily-10 minutes.

Shine a little more.

Read a book a month and Dr Suess does not count.

My Program:
Track it-and be honest.

Move it-get off the bum.

Be realistic-good days, bad days, good meals, bad meals. Dust yourself off and refocus.
