Being Consistent and Persistent

Update 2nd June 2010:
My last update was 179 days ago, and for that time I have fallen completely off the Wagon. Without going into detail, I've struggle to keep my mind focused on my commitment to myself. As a result I have regained 31 pounds of my original weight loss.

This experience tells me that I have not incorporated the changes that I need to, and so I am restarting my Spark Stage. I am changing my Spark Page look to represent my new start and resetting my goals. ...

Original Post:

This is a fight back against my lifestyle. I love my job but it is not very good for me:
*Lots of time in the car or in front of the computer
*Hotel stays, meaning bad sleep and fattening foods
*Erratic schedule hitting mealtimes and exercise times
*Long tiring days inducing the sugar bunnies

So my commitment is to record ALL food in my diary
And exercise every other day following the Kettler plan.

"The difficulty lies in finding that still point at the center of the turning wheel—that place in your own mind where you can be fully with yourself, as you are, without being against yourself or merely for some imagined future version of yourself. " - Dean Anderson

We're both on the Ten in 10 team and I had to click on your photo when I saw the dalek in it!! My hubby has been watching Dr. Who on youtube for the last several weeks and since our computer desks are right next to each other, so have I. He started watching it when he was young, I'm guessing the late 80s or whenever the show started. Anyway, good job on getting over the holiday hump and coming back to sparkpeople to lose what you regained. I did the same thing, except I was gone for a year and I'm even heavier now than when I started the first time! Do you have a blog--is that how you found out about Ten in 10? If so, send me the link--I'd love to check it out. Mine is http://reciperhapsody.wordpress.com

I was looking through the 300+ member pages and saw a Dalek! I am so in love with Doctor Who, it's verging on madness ;;;;grin:::

Congrats on your amazing success. I look forward to learning from you as I get started on this road.

Cheers!
