And the new year dawns. Amen to that, now lets get going, Twas almost funny now that I've changed my routine to keeping track of miles in lieu of minutes. Lo and behold I received a trophy for 100 miles logged. Hell I must of gone over that a few years ago. So to settle my own how much do I walk, that will be the main counter this year, and maybe the count on the scale will go down. Other than that still stuck in AZ, but that is another long and drawn out story. So keep going, and remember us oldies don't stop, we just slow down to smell the roses. Have a good year and keep in touch.
I am old enough to realize that New Years' Resolutions really don't work. But, for the sake of starting over this year, it really doesn't matter that it just happens to be the first week of a New Year. I need to kinda trick myself that way.
I am committing to do two things differently. Because the real meaning of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results! lol
1. Getting rid of clutter in my house and staying on top of cleaning it. This will make me feel better about myself and give me the sense that change is possible. I know it will require me to give up some time in the AM, but once things get going it will be easier to maintain.
2. Make a "To Do" list as well as a "Grocery List" with a "Menu" list. I am a list type of person and it makes me realize how much I am getting done in a day. I really believe that by starting with these three lists it will be key to stay on track.
3. Starting my day off with my favorite 20 minute Yoga video (Rodney Ye AM Stretch) will get my blood flowing and be more energized throughout the day.
So, those are it, real basic and simple: 1. DeClutter the house; 2. Make lists to stay organized; 3. Start the day with Yoga.
Thanks for the spark goodied the other day. Now that it is cooling off in AZ i will bee back on track with some more impetus. Had a few health problems but a solution is right around the corner. Have a good month, and keep in touch.
