Hi everyone! My name is Stacey. I discovered Spark in Jan 2013. At this point I am more ready, willing, and able to get healthy than ever before! Weigh less than 200 by Disney trip (~20lbs in 8mos- so doable!!) - GOAL MET!! 8/29/13

Run at least 2 5ks this year - goal met ran 3 so far as of Nov 1st

Long term goals:
Fit by 40, weight of 165 or less, run 1/2 marathon, get off Prilosec or at least cut down, read more, declutter

Wt loss goals:
1. Down 10 lbs- goal met 3/17/13

Personal Information:
Live in New England and love it! My passions include (besides family & friends) Summer thunderstorms, music, reading, horseback riding, Disney, Everything Jim Henson, broadway musicals, amusement parks, carnivals and circuses (anything colorful and happy!)

Dislikes= negativity! I try to steer clear of it as much as possible! Life is tough enough!

What a wonderful opportunity for the girl's night!! I know it interfered with your scheduling, but I am so glad you went! You know, mommies need memories too!!

It is great to hear that the schedule is coming along. As with every other part of this journey, baby steps are wonderful. Slow and steady ALWAYS wins the race.

Yes, Fall will be a whole new world/ position for me. I have left Texhoma Elementary after 18 years. emoticon and will be working at Gruver Elementary. In the beginning, I will mostly be observing the regular classroom teacher. As the semester goes on, she (Mrs. Barton) will gradually turn over more and more control, one subject at a time, until in the end, I am teaching all subjects, all the time.It is quite exciting but a little surreal all at the same time. I have wanted this for SO VERY long, and here I am on the threshold! emoticon

I hope you indeed survive the work schedule prior to vacation and have a WONDERFUL time in the mountains! If it is not too whiny, could I request a blog with pictures when you return? It sounds emoticon

Okay, well I should get to making tracks to the bed myself. I have been trying to get up a little earlier and be more productive. I guess I am practicing for the day when I must start setting the alarm again! LOL

Hey! Thanks for the goodie!! I just got a new phone and had to work out some issues with it but it was worth it! So I have not been here to often since this past weekend. I got a Galaxy Note 3 but couldn't use WiFi and be able to text at the same time so I got another one. It still had issues but at least I can now text and have WiFi on. Going to Verizon cut into my P90X time!, but now back at it after completing Round One! Now Round Two just began!

Hi Stacey!

It was great to see that you tracked a jog today! I hope you were able to truly enjoy the time. It sounded like everything right down to the weather was just perfect. emoticon

Is the schedule coming along the way you would like? I sure hope so!

I am doing okay in ranges and getting my walk in each evening, but have struggled a bit lately with the motivation to do any ST. I am hoping that it is just that getting everything moved out of my office and into home and getting home rearranged to accommodate it all is just occupying more focus and time than I should be spending on it. Hopefully by the end of this weekend, the whole transition will be complete. Hahaha if it is that will be just in time for school to be starting back up and a whole new problem with focus and time. It is always something isn't it? emoticon

I was pretty sure you would feel that way about the challenge. I hope it was okay of me to ask. It just didn't seem right to either of us that we not ask. I am glad that you did not let us deter any of your focus! I am absolutely convinced that your kind of determination and attention to detail is exactly what will whip your sleep/ recreation schedule into shape. emoticon emoticon

The last two days have been pretty busy for me. DS3 came yesterday to help me move my desk from the school into my home. When I started working there, extra desks were nowhere to be found. So rather than sit at a table, I took in a desk a friend gave me. Since I am leaving, the desk is mine and came with me. My son unfortunately gave me nearly zero notice he had the day off and was coming. It gave me two hours with only dad and some "EZ Mover Pads" to move a file cabinet, a video cabinet a bookshelf and a curio shelf. The minute we were done we charges to the school to try to get a head start on cleaning my desk off and out. No luck DS got there same time I did. So it was a crazy day of lifting, moving, and piling huge stacks of things to be sorted later. My back was a little testy last night, but I believe is now fine.

Not much else going on. Please, PLEASE keep in touch as you focus on your habit forming. I would love to hear how it is going,offer encouragement, and may even need a good friend to slap me back on track now and then. LOL
