Focus on the Journey, Not the Destination

I moved back to Connecticut in 2007. I turned 21 earlier that year, and had never really drank before then. So of course after moving back I definitely lived it up in my twenties with my friends by going to parties, bars, and eating out at diners at all hours of the night. Over the course of the years, I slowly gained weight. I went from 160 to now currently, 204. I recently lost 20lbs from doing a wheat free diet, but I didn't stick with it (not quite sure why I felt amazing!) I gained a few ...

Over the course of the years, I slowly gained weight. I went from 160 to now currently, 204. I recently lost 20lbs from doing a wheat free diet, but I didn't stick with it (not quite sure why I felt amazing!) I gained a few pounds back. But I am looking to do this lifestyle change and lose the weight FOR GOOD! I changed my final goal weight because I realized that at 160lbs, I looked pretty good, and even though it's not my high school weight of 127 where I really was physically happy with myself, I feel like I can be physically happy with myself at 160, or even a little less, because I love who I am and I love having curves. So we shall see how I look when I reach my goal and I always have the ability to change it :)

You can do this! Do you know where I started at the very beginning? 220 pounds, I'm 18!!! I'm 166 now, and I've hit plenty of LONG plateus (for about a year and a half I just..maintained at 195) Don't give up, because then you WILL lose. Good luck!

I had a nice, really relaxing holiday. I worked some and spent the rest of the time running the millions of errands that I haven't had time for in the past few months. I loved being lazy and taking some time off - it was much needed. I am happy to be back at work and on a schedule but I could go for a few more days of waking up after the sun is up instead of way before it!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I definitely opened up which is so not like me but I am blaming "pregnancy crazyness"!!

Besides all the stuff going on that I wrote about I am enjoying being pregnant. There are good and bad days but nothing is amazing as knowing you are growing a life inside of you and feeling it move around in your belly emoticon

How are things with you? Seeing your family for the holidays?
