I am married to a wonderful man who happens to be my best friend. I love camping, reading,watching movies, playing Dominoes and spending time with family, especially my beautiful granddaughter, and friends. Lastly, while I am not perfect, I AM forgiven. Thank you God.

I am 46 years old and have a few health concerns that I am sure are weight related. I take medications for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and GIRD. My blood sugar is climbing dangerously close to diabetes. I have sleep apnea and sleep with a CPAP machine. My feet, knees, hips and back often hurt and I believe it is from the extra weight.
I started Spark People in March 2010. I have lost 38 lbs to date (50 if i start from November 2009) and my feet, knees, hips and back feel so much better. I am still on the meds for GIRD but I am no longer suffering with sever stomach pain after every meal. My clothing is literally falling off of me.
Believe me folks! This site works! And with the support offered here? We can all do this!
My goals are to lose 81lbs, sleep peacefully without the CPAP, come off the meds for GIRD, BP and Cholesterol, and have the energy to run around and play with my granddaughter!

60 lbs by February 13, 2011.

My Program:
I am trying to stay within the ranges recommended by Spark People. I am also walking at least 1 hour per day. At least 30 minutes with my dog in the morning and 15 minutes twice per day with a co-worker. In addition - I have been using my Wii Fit Plus for at least 30 minutes each day.

Hi , stopping by to see how your doing. We are on vacation ---actually heading up to meet our new granddaughter & spend some time with her in the mountains of WV. Then later returning to Franklin, NC for a mini vacation with my DH. This is our first vacation in 3 years --- much earned I would say.

Thanks for the Welcome Back. I am completely mended from the broken knee & broken hand. I am back to daily exercise now and watching more closely what I eat. I am NOT however, back to walking Odie! LOL I just don't trust him that much yet! Maybe someday!
