My Goals:
To be fitter and feel better about myself. To be able to grasp opportunities because I am fit enough to handle them!

My Program:
I am lucky I live in an apartment building with a gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, squash courts, tennis courts, sauna and basketball courts (although the last doesnt interest me) and I live in beautiful Vancouver where is easy to be active. So my program is to make use of it all!

Personal Information:
I am a mother of 2 grown up children, a daughter and son. I am from a family of 10, my siblings are scattered a little now, all over England and 1 in Australia. The rest of my family is also very large, approx 25 nieces and nephews who are having children now. We once had a family reunion and 150+ people turned up from far and wide! We are as close as we can be.

My hobbies

I love to take pictures, and along with that I like to go off and visit the great outdoors. I am not too bad at it...I suprised myself and seem to attract wildlife. My lastest was a Black Bear only we had left the area it decided to graze in moments earlier and the pictures I took were from down the bottom of the peak of Grouse Mountain. But to think he was aroud that area where my sister and I had just been sitting is quite scary. I love to hike, and I walk for miles when I am out in the open. I would love to travel, I guess this goes hand in hand with my curiosity to see and experience new things.

    Thank you for the flower. Anything that looks like a daisy goes under "my favorite" category. Was reading a little of your sparkpage and we have something in common: we both come from a large family. Mine is mostly scattered around Quebec and Ontario but I have two brothers in Alberta (Tarsands). I remember as a kid, New Year's gatherings were held in a rented hall as there was way too many of us to fit in any one's house. My father came from a family of 17 and his brothers and sisters have a large family of their own (for the most part), and my mother came from a family of 7, who also had a large family of their own.     I meant to answer your question right away and just now remembered. No, I'm not near my target weight right now. Last year, at the end of November, I was at 154, and this year, I gained about 15 pounds pretty quickly (lack of exercise). It's only been since mid summer that I've gotten back on track, and even then, I wasn't necessarily losing (and actually gained!). I'm finally seeing downward movement, but with the gaining and the slow loss, I'm not focused too hard on thinking about goal weight. I just keep telling myself to do what I know works (it did the first 2 years on SP), and the weight will come off. I'm feeling very physically fit lately and this last month, I did lose inches on my middle, so I'm feeling very happy. Yes, it would be great to be 10 pounds less, like I was last year, but I just can't let that rule my mind. I know it will happen if I keep going in the right direction with my fitness and healthy eating.
