It's about time!

I've never really eaten too much food, but just haven't exercised much since college. I recently moved into my own place and purchased a workout gym and exercise bike. I'm also starting to log my meals here on sparkpeople so I can figure out what to change/eliminate in my diet.

My current goal is to lose 40 pounds by May 2009, but I'm hoping to make a significant push towards that this year. Since getting my own place, I've eliminated soda from my meals and switched to water. I've ...

My current goal is to lose 40 pounds by May 2009, but I'm hoping to make a significant push towards that this year. Since getting my own place, I've eliminated soda from my meals and switched to water. I've switched from Vitamin D milk to 2% and switched cereals from the sugary stuff to the healthier stuff like Special K / Wheaties.

So I'm very excited about all of these changes in my life and hope to meet / exceed my health goals. SparkPeople seems to be a great site for tracking and sharing information, so I'm anxious to utilize all of their tools. I've found that it helps not only in diet/exercise, but other facets of life to write down your goals and track their progress.
