I know how you feel about the junk food habit. It took a visual to see that I needed to wake up. What I mean is, I have a friend who is on SP and she has a husband who has shelf full of junkfood. Well One day she was at my house and my husband was telling and then showing her the food in our fridge. All healthy food. The foods we buy but I never ate. Then I said I have a junk food addiction or something along those lines. Well he then pointed out that my friends husband has a vachon shelf FULL of junk food and my friend isnt touching it as she WANTS to get the weight off and she was serious about it. He them told me that I need to comprimize , Have yogurt when the family has ice-cream etc. This woke me up as too, I AM sabotaging myself! I was not focused on me and my weight. I new what I needed to do but I wasn't doing it. So I hopped on SP and started getting involved , I mean really involved on the message boards and streaks etc. I even joined a walking group. I never ever saw me doing that! I still love junk food but I have learned to only have a cookie when the box is almost gone from my kids etc. I have a picture on my fridge that says "Every food choice we make takes us closer or farther away from our weight loss goals".
We can do this, we have to remember what food makes us feel good and what food adds weight and fast weight. Enjoy your junk food ONLY when you can fit it into your calorie tracker! 2283 days ago
