I'm a busy mom of 4 who started WW in July of 2007, then decided to have another baby. I reached my personal goal in March of 2009 then re-evaluated my goal to be that I maintain a healthy weight under 120 (I'm 5'3" so that's not too skinny).

I'm using both the WW eTools to log Points and the SparkPeople page to count calories. I'm wanting to make the switch to just SparkPeople to save money, but I'm not sure if it'll work. I'm not sure what my hangup is, but I sort of have the if it ain't broke, don't fix it mentality. Of course, saving $17/month is never a bad thing.

I live in Delaware, but am originally from Pennsylvania. I want to go back to Pennsylvania really badly, but it's just not in the cards right now. I think being in a funk, if not totally depressed, about moving to Delaware was a factor in me losing weight. I had gained steadily since high school anyway, but then after kids 2 and 3, the pregnancy weight just stayed on. I hated being in DE and had no control over it.

I did have control over my weight. I had gotten a negative comment the same weekend I had to buy a new outfit for a funeral since nothing I had fit. That Tuesday when we got home I immediately started WW. By January of 2008, I had lost 40 pounds. We decided to have another baby and for some strange reason I lost another 10 pounds at the beginning of the pregnancy (not due to illness; I suppose it was just because I knew how to eat). I managed to gain 35 pounds during the pregnancy (so 25 above pre-pregnancy weight), which is phenomenal for me. About a week or two after delivery I really started to track foods.

March 17, 2009 I weighed-in at 124, which is a pound below my personal goal. Since then, I've lowered my goal weight (still within a healthy range) and have managed to maintain my weight in the 110s since July.

Striving to use the new WW plan. I'm training for a half marathon in June, so I'm exercising 5-6 times per week.

I'm from Pennsylvania, but have lived in Dover, DE for 4 years. I think being depressed about being here helped to give me a kick in the butt to start doing something for myself.

I'm 33, married for 11 years. I have four children, 8, 7, 5, and 2.

    Awww...give the new plan a chance! They said they took out the activity level because people were overestimating what their level was and therefore were eating more than needed! Since a lot of point values for food went up (if they were high in carbs and low in protein), they had to increase the daily points allowed. Plus, fruits/veggies (except for a few) are free now...even bananas! I am embracing this and, along with SP, have seen a huge difference in my choices over the past 3 days!

    Hi Stacy,
    about the Bender Ball. I had read a review by Coach Nicole that the last DVD was a good workout ( if you buy it at Bed, Bath and Beyond it comes with all three dvd's and I think Walmart). I was using it pretty much three times a week and I really didn't attribute my nice abs to it but I haven't done it for a really long time and I feel fluffy in the middle and I look soft so i am going back to it to see if that is where the abs came from. It isn't too hard but you will feel it afterward! Take Care, Paige

    Yep, we can turn it around. I'm pushing on that with the help of the High Intensity Thinkers team, who are kicking me in the butt to keep me accountable, LOL

    We just have to refocus on why we want this. Why we really, really, really want this. Once that's clear, I think resuming the steps will follow...

    Yes...we can definitely motivate each other. It was super hard to get back on track after indulging in every type of sweet and junk food known to man. I did manage to get a 10 minute workout in yesterday. It was high impact and reminded me of how much I have slacked off. Exercising has never been my thing so I need to push myself to do it everytime. After I get into a routine I think I'll be okay again. Hubby's off today, so I'm off of my exercise routine, but tomorrow I will probably get on the treadmill and try for a longer workout routine. I know how you feel with the I don't care attitude. It seems like I have felt like that for far too long. I have to care if I plan on fitting into my new clothes I ordered from Old Navy. If we want to be happy when it's like 90+ degrees out we need to stay focused and care....I know I don't want to be miserable and feeling down about myself when I should be out enjoying the summer with the kids.
