I'm doing my best this time around to really stick with the program!!! I'm tired of fluctuating. I want to actually GET HEALTHY!!!!

Everyone seems to be setting goals to stay on track so that's what I'm going to try too!!!!!

155: a new pair of shoes to go out in
150: new jeans! *that actually fit*
145: A MILESTONE! maybe i'll splurge on a haircut
140: spray tan to get ready for summer-time!
135: omg I WISH!!! I think this would deserve a trip of some sort. And I'd just have to maintain it from here on out!!!!!

Some family members and I are playing The Biggest Loser. We all have to lose a minimum of one pound a week or pay a $5 penalty! We started this week and are using our Wii's to keep track of our weights and BMI's. :) I work at a bookstore so I'm going to pick up Jillian's (one of the trainers from The Biggest Loser) 30 Day fitness book. Hopefully I can stick to it!!!!! I want to lose 20lbs!!!

My Goals:
get back to the size i was when i felt the healthiest. (140lbs or less). have more energy. eat less junk less often. be able to go up and down the stairs to the beach all in one go. (there's over 600 of them!) feel comfortable in a bikini, please! (it's about time, i'd say.)


My Program:
1200 - 1550 calories a day. exercise four times a week, run in the park as often as possible. be better about calorie intake and portions.

Now I'm on Jillian Michael's Making the Cut! I'll be doing it for the full 30 days assuming I don't hurt myself. I started on February 9th.



Personal Information:
I'm 24 and live in Vancouver, British Columbia. It's a beautiful city and the really amazing thing about it is that if the weather is right, you can snowboard up on one of the mountains and then head down to the beach for some sun-bathing. BEAUTIFUL!!! I've got a great boyfriend who's really motivating me and encouraging me to accomplish my goals even though (he says) he doesn't really care what I look like. (Aww.) I love my cat Xiu Xiu who is turning 6 in March! And I'm graduating with my BA in Art History in one more year. (June 2010!) After that I'll be going into the Library Sciences program and hopefully I'll be the best looking librarian on the block! Ha. I'm always trying to stay positive and sometimes overwhelm my friends with my optimism and desire to try new things all the time. I think they wish I would just hunker down on the couch for a night of movie watching, but it's just so much more fun to get out there and do something you've never done before!

    I know what you mean about feeling good now that you've got the food and exercise down. I've just switched over to healthy eating (SUCH a struggle for me.. took me over a year), but it feels sooo good! It definitely helps out a lot. That'd be so awesome to own an elliptical! If I had a bigger place, I'd think about buying one too.
