Hi, Stacey! I wanted to send you the assignment that just passed. If you don't have a plateau plan of action set up, there are plenty of suggestions on Pregnancy IN REVERSE, our thread. ;o) Let me know which on you've settled on and I will sign you off! The goal is to have a plan of action set up for the times of plateau. There is less devastation when you plan for it, in advance.
My own answer... I have hit plateau twice in 32 weeks. My plan was that, as long as I stuck to my healthy eating, faithfully, when I hit the plateau I gave myself one free meal the following Sunday. By giving the free meal the following sunday, I took away that ---spure of the moment--- eating which kept me in complete control. A free meal was something I love that I have withheld from (Chinese...wink) . A pleateau for me was described as a rolling two weeks without a weightloss. In other words, Let's say I lost 1 lb on monday. Since that monday, for two straight weeks, I have NOT lost another pound. (ROLLING TWO WEEKS...Rolling is the operative word) Since I weigh myself daily, I know when I lost the weight I lost. Please post your plan of action when you hit a plateau, and I will sign you off for this week's check in. You will see the update in the first post of this thread.
For added information, you should probably be ready to enforce your PLATEAU PLAN OF ACTION after 2, that's TWO consecutive weeks of no weight loss.
