Encouraged by SparkPeople!

I am 45, married with 8 children, and 1 grandchild and I am getting close to not being obese. I am very encouraged by all of the motivational people on this site....I only have to look at all of those who have succeeded by being consistant with small weight loss. It is amazing to see how quickly it does make a difference!!! I am trying to make changes in my life and the only thing I can change is me. So I am trying to lose weight so that I won't continue to be embarassed and disgusted with ...

I would like to become an upbeat, cheerful, thoughtful, faithfilled person that others can enjoy being around. I think that Sparkpeople may be the key to get me started. :)

I am tracking what I am eating and trying to make better choices.

I started the couch25K and am on week 3.

Doing walking and strength training on the 2 off days from c25k

Drinking 8 or more glasses of water a day

I log Ripped in 30 as circuit training. Really most of Jiliian Micheals stuff is circuit training.
