Looking for Longevity
I started my weight lost journey July 1, 2006. I retired from my job in corporate America after working for 26 years in a stressful environment. It was time to take care of myself. I had approximately 165 pounds to lose. I have lost 120 lbs which was not easy at times. I still have another 45 lbs to lose. I started my weight lost journey July 1, 2006. I retired from my job in corporate America after working for 26 years in a stressful environment. It was time to take care of myself. I had approximately 165 pounds to lose. I have lost 120 lbs which was not easy at times. I still have another 45 lbs to lose. I have reached a plateau and I have not lost any weight in the last few weeks. I am not going to get discouraged. I have to increase and change my exercise routine. 5/29/08 I weighted 179.2 this morning. I was able to move throught this plateau by adding weight training to my exercise routine. I change my weight training daily to achieve better results. I only need to lose 39 lbs now to reach my goal.

My Goals:
I would like to reach my goal by the end of this year. I want to lose this weight so I can be healthy. My husband of 32 years died suddenly last year. I want to become healthy for myself, my 2 grown children and my 5 grandchildren.
My Program:
Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Dont drink any sodas including diet sodas. Dont eat any fried foods or beef. Eat fruits in the morning. Eat my last meal by 7pm. Walk 2 miles on the treadmill at least 5 times a week.
