Staying Positive Helps Me Overcome Obstacles.

Hi, Staying positive is hard for me and I am trying to convince myself of how important it is with my Sparkpage title. I'm hoping that the more I can stay positive, the closer I will get to my health goals and maybe help a Sparkfriend or two.

I'm a work in progress--still struggling to change poor eating habits. I am using Spark People tools to get healthier. My favorite tool is Spark Streaks. I like the idea of a to-do list and then seeing progress over time. I also like Spark ...

I'm a work in progress--still struggling to change poor eating habits. I am using Spark People tools to get healthier. My favorite tool is Spark Streaks. I like the idea of a to-do list and then seeing progress over time. I also like Spark Teams. Team Goals and a community with shared interests within the framework of health and fitness builds upon the progress we can make individually.

Thank you for leaving such a kind message on my blog!

I can really relate to what you said here about to-do lists and seeing progress being made. I think it really helps you to see that things are changing while it feels like you're just slogging along day by day. I think that's why I visit my scale so often!

Hi - thanks for stopping by. Good point on the carb intake. Earlier in the week one night when I was feeling the same way, I had half a square of dark chocolate. And a mug of Ovaltine. It helped ease my cravings. There is a correlation between the days I do cardio, and my nighttime munchies!
