My son went off to college fall of 2008, I became an empty nester, I decided to make some positive changes in my life which included exercising, walking, and eating healthier. My eventual goal would be to lose about 90 lbs. Between April of 2010-December 2010, I lost about 60 lbs. I still have 30 lbs. to go and hope to achieve that in the early months of 2011.

I also am not currently working full time and I would like to be working full time as soon as possible. Although, the last year has been full of changes for me, I have been able to adjust pretty well to them and I have learned a lot about myself. Being without full time work over two years has given my opportunity to reflect on what is important in life and what my purpose actually is.

Update: Fast Forward to July 2011. I am working full time, have been since the end of February. It is near the end of July and I am now 167 lbs. Only 24 lbs. to go before I reach my final goal. Things are going good..I have even spent a little time dating. What a good feeling that people find me attractive...sure was not when I was obese.

I saw that you mentioned Spark on your FB page a few times and people were interested in it.

After my 2nd kid, I really let myself go. I'm still trying to process why I let it happen so it doesn't happen again. I have at least 100 to lose, but 100 is currently my goal.
