I am now a winner.
I am a 50+ person. I have been married for 40 years and have one son that I adore. I work full time and belong to an antique car club that keeps me busy. August 2008 Just a quick up date- Still maintianing - The hardest part. Some weeks I am up one or two pounds some weeks I am down. I do not eat any differently so it's just my body holding on to water. I know that this is a lifelong commitment. I can not give into temptations. I feel 100% better than I did before. ...

When I started this journey I was borderline diabetic and had very high blood pressure. I am now in the normal ranges for all and do not take any medication. Hurray!!!!!

My Goals:
To keep the weight off that I have already lost.
My Program:
Counting calories and excercising. I started my program April of 2006. By December of 2007 I reached my goal weight. I lost 142 pounds. Why I am staying on this type of progam is to keep the weight off. Maintaining is the hard part. Trying to determine the calorie /excerise balance
Personal Information:
I have been married for 40 years to a wonderful man. I have one son I adore. In 1996 I had breast cancer. I am a 12 year survior. I have alot of very good friends that have supported me through all my trials and tribulations.
