It has been a long haul - harder and easier than I thought. I am so close to my goal weight and wow I feel great. I have more confidence and more energy and, who would have thought, I love to exercise - well most of the time anyway. I am changing my focus from weight loss to fat loss, getting rid of those final fat deposits and SparkPeople will continue to be a part of my life for this stage of my journey!

My Goals:
My goal is to continue to work towards my goal weight and continuing to develop a healthy and fit lifestyle. I love the energy I have now and want to keep this going!

My Program:
Eating healthy while maintaing balance is the key to my eating program. This is to be a life long change so I want something that is maintainable. Occasional treats are okay as long as it is every day.

My fitness program is the key to my success and hopefully to good health. I am working to make physical activitiy a daily part of my life. This is where the spark streaks come in. Making that 10,000 steps (and trying to increase my daily tally), walking at least 1 mile a day, getting more cardio and strength training in and seeing the benefits of that - I want all of this to be routine for me.

Personal Information:
I live in a small town in Southern Alberta with my husband and dog (Razor). Tim and I made a commitment to get healthier and we started by quiting smoking and now we are working on losing weight and getting fit. So far both of us have lost about 40 lbs each. A lot of our success comes from sharing this journey together.

Thanks for the encouragement! It's hard somedays, that's for sure. I'm trying the curves weight management plan and I have lost 9 lbs this month. Hopefully things will continue to move downward. Have anice day. Luv ya!

I fell and hurt my knee like a year ago and it's been acting up, very stiff and sore and then I hurt my ankle on the other foot I think cuz of my knee. All I heard was a popping/tearing sound and then pain. It's getting better but I can't stand for too long. It's made life very interesting. How's the hand doing? I'm so excited to wee you in 3 weeks. I have missed you so much!
