Food = Happy

I have a tough diet. I'm highly allergic to nickel, so I can't eat too many whole grains, leafy green veggies, and other healthy things. I have to stick to animal products (while watching my cholesterol) and vitamins. My current exercise regimen includes Dance Dance Revolution and the dog park.

I found out to my distress that the ONLY thing that cuts through that depression to make me happy instantly is food. Needless to say, this is not turning out well. I have never made progress with my goals, but now I'm actually GAINING weight again. I CAN'T LET THIS GO ON.

I know what you mean about panicing when not feeling full. I have a slight panic disorder and the second I crave something I have to push it out of my mind. Otherwise I'll start worrying that I'm depriving myself and that I'll just think about that one food all night long.

Certainly makes weight loss harder, but not impossible!
