Food = Happy

I have a tough diet. I'm highly allergic to nickel, so I can't eat too many whole grains, leafy green veggies, and other healthy things. I have to stick to animal products (while watching my cholesterol) and vitamins. My current exercise regimen includes Dance Dance Revolution and the dog park.

I found out to my distress that the ONLY thing that cuts through that depression to make me happy instantly is food. Needless to say, this is not turning out well. I have never made progress with my goals, but now I'm actually GAINING weight again. I CAN'T LET THIS GO ON.

Hi,
I found your page by accident but I noticed we weigh the exact same right now. :(

And it looks like we have similar goals, I want to get down to 160 eventually, even though I am not obsessed with that number. It would be nice though. I have about 10 months to get in shape though. I will not feel like crap on my wedding day, I am getting married at the end of this year. When is your wedding?

Hey! Thanks for the post! I know. Its completely crazy how the little things add up. For instance, we've got little kisses in our cabinet. They aren't just kisses. They're the truffle kind with the yummy goodness inside. Its almost like you're eating a kiss with a brownie inside. I've haven't tasted something that good in a long time. But they keep calling my name. The thing about it is, I wouldn't be able to just have one. I think I'd be able to stop myself at about 20, and that would probably be as many calories as an actual meal. all of that to say that I agree with you! Small things do really add up! But other than that, how's life? Everything going ok?

Oh trust me. WANTING to go to the gym and not being able to is a much better problem than the other way around! Being able to, but not wanting to.

I love a nice cardio high! What stinks is that since I rested my muscles today I was on such a downer. I really missed my workout high!
