Thanks so much for all the great comments on this page! I read all of these and often share them with our team to motivate us to keep improving the site to help more people!

Here is an article about the history of SparkPeople and why our site is 100% free.

What is with the Leaders always quitting on Sparks?

Every time I join. They bite the Dust.

    Joined another a day ago.

    Leader gone.

    This is ridiculous.

Just started the "Spark Solution" I think it will give me the impetus I need to get back on track. Enjoying it so far and the recipes look delicious. Thanks again to you and your fabulous team for making this the best healthy lifestyle URL on the web.

I think this will not be addressed, but I agree with the previous poster re the too-quick decision to change "My" SparkPage without advance notice. Most of the sections on SP are what I think of as public sections, such as the Start page. "My" SparkPage was (I thought) a personal area; we even have the ability to make them private if we choose. Could we not please have some reinstatement of more options, more personalized controls, on our individual pages, rather than having so much uniformity?

Not happy at all about the changes made to the individual Spark Pages of members. Many people are upset that no notice was given, and that they weren't given a choice or a say in the change. An individual's Spark Page is very much an individual representation of themselves. Whomever made the unilateral decision to make the changes shows a horrible disregard for the individual members of Spark People, and that is very sad.
