GETTING MARRIED!

IM GETTING MARRIED!!!!

Its been a rough road for me in the last few years. Starting a doctoral program did NOTHING to help me with my weight. When I first started here back in 2008 I was 113-115 lbs. I did this for a month or two and I lost about 5 lbs. I was happy and felt stronger....but fell of the wagon.

The next time I came back in 2012 I had a gallbladder removed...and with it my ability to lose weight quickly...At that point i was oscillating between 115-118 ...

The next time I came back in 2012 I had a gallbladder removed...and with it my ability to lose weight quickly...At that point i was oscillating between 115-118 lbs...Because I wasn't seeing ANY change I quit quite quickly as well.

BUT NOW! I AM GETTING MARRIED!!! In 7 months I am marrying a wonderful man, and I can't imagine not giving him the pleasure of marrying the woman I know I can be. I also want to be strong and energetic for the wonderful honeymoon we are planning! none of this exhaustion and achy joints because of disuse!

So here I am...the weight has slowly creeped up on me... I am now 120 lbs, and on bad days it can go up to 123. Scary.

BUT I CAN DO IT. I HAVE DONE IT BEFORE AND I WILL DO IT AGAIN.

For me
for my future husband
and for the lovely munchkins that will surely come soon enough.

Welcome back to the fold! I just recommitted about 2 or so weeks ago (then blew it royally over the holiday and vacation my family and I took) Back at it for the last two days. Maybe we can encourage each other as we have similar body types and goals. emoticon

Come on keep on going!!! I know that we can both do this together...we have to the marathon is in 2010. I have to admit though, the last time I ran was on Thursday....I think, it has been that long. Now, I have no problem doing strength training, but cardio is another thing. I am so tired after lifting weights that I have no energy for running. I just need to push myself!
