Getting Fit and Staying that Way!!

I am a Vegetarian, Yogini, and Rookie Runner turned Long-Distance Runner. I want to live a high quality of life for as long as possible (preferably would like to be doing Yoga when I am 90!) and for me that means being healthy and happy. I enjoy learning new ways to stay fit and broadening my culinary horizons with new healthy recipes for my friends and family to enjoy! I love to travel, read and help others and want to lead a happy, well-balanced life!

My Goals:
To be fit and healthy for many years to come.

To run a Half Marathon by the end of 2012.

To grow my yoga practice, through teaching and practicing.

My Program:
I eat a vegetarian diet, and do my best to keep my sweet tooth in check. I have begun running 1-3x a week and pratice yoga 3x a week as well.

Personal Information:
From Oshawa, Ontario originally, but moved back to Canada this past year from living in Thailand for the previous 2 years. Settling back into Canadian life, in beautiful St. John's, Newfoundland.

Hey...just read your comment on living with candida's team about wanting to go vegan...I'm veggie too and looking to deal with the candida...and I also eat a lot of eggs...AND I'm an Ontarian too! I live in Barrie but am from Lindsay. Anyway just thought I'd say hi and also wondering if you shun grains like rice, and how the diet is working. I am currently dairy and gluten free, but still have rice and spelt. And goat cheese if I'm at a restaurant.

You are so right - and I love cukes! They don't come in a bag at the convenience store - LOL. ;0) I have been making the cukes for easy prep since your suggestion, so thanks for the reminder!!!!! Good idea woman!
