Hey ya'll -- Thanks for visiting my SparkPage! I am a 30 year old from Birmingham, Alabama.

Some of my favorite things include the beach, shopping, and college football. I'm a huge University of Georgia fan -- GO DAWGS! :)

I never had to worry about my weight until after college. But slowly and steadily, the weight began to creep on after graduating -- mainly due to lots of late nights and overindulging. ;)

Some of my favorite things include the beach, shopping, and college football. I'm a huge University of Georgia fan -- GO DAWGS! :)

I never had to worry about my weight until after college. But slowly and steadily, the weight began to creep on after graduating -- mainly due to lots of late nights and overindulging. ;)

My "a-ha" moment happened in December 2008, when I saw a picture of myself and was NOT happy at all with the way I looked. I was the heaviest weight I had ever been -- 130 lbs @ 5'2''. I joined a gym the next day and decided my eating habits needed a complete overhaul.

On January 22, 2009, I found SparkPeople -- tracking my meals and snacks EVERYDAY along with 4-5 days a week at the gym and running outdoors have been the biggest contributions to my success so far!

My motto for my weight loss journey is "slow and steady wins the race." I hope to lose approximately 5 pounds a month and get back down to at least 110lbs.

I recently completed the Couch to 5K program and I participated in my first 5K race on April 11, 2009. I started running because I heard it was one of the best ways to lose weight, but now I run because I ENJOY it! :)

*Cardio (currently run 3+ miles 3-4 days a week)



*Strength train 2-3 days a week



*Drink 64+ oz of water a day



*Eat 5-6 small meals a day and as clean as possible




*Measure my food portions with my digital food scale



Personal Information:
I enjoy shopping, watching college football, playing poker, and going to dollar bowling nights.

I have a black kitty named Flower. I love reality TV and college football!
