Hi I am Lori. I have been with Sparkpeople since 2008. When I first joined, I lost a lot of weight. I stopped coming to the site, and I gained it all back and then some. I also belong to TOPS (Take of Pounds Sensibly) organization. I stopped attending those meeting at the same time I stopped coming to Sparkpeople, Since joining TOPS I have belonged to three different TOPS support groups, between moving and work schedules. I currently and attending the internet group, for there is no group I can attend near me.

Sparkpeople has been helping me to eat better and find new ways to exercise. Since I have been back, I have not lost a lot of weight, I hold responsible it on lack of exercise. I had a couple of surgeries that have prevented me from doing aerobic exercises I mainly do strength training. I do some gardening as I am getting stronger.
I do not use Sparkpeople’s food tracker, I track my food in my personal journal. It is easier for me to look back and see what I ate. I also track my feelings I have before I eat. This has been helpful for me to take care of things early before they become a crisis. I also write something good that happened that day in my food journal.

My goal is to be a physically and mentally healthy person


My Program:
I have been keeping records in a book of what I eat. Calories. When I eat. How i feel when I eat. also physical exercise and Relaxation exercises.

I try to do some kind of Physical exercise daily and relaxation two times daily. When i stick to it I do well.



Personal Information:
I live in the small town of LeRoy NY. This town is the home of the the creation of jello. We are also known as the town with more cows than people.



Other Information:
Today is the first day of the rest of my life life.
