Hello, I'm Kenny. I'm an aspiring Opera Singer, and contrary to popular belief, being overweight is not helpful to this career. I've struggled with my weight all my life, and while I know I'm not obese, I'm still not comfortable going to the beach and taking off my shirt, so I kinda feel like I'm missing out on my life. So yeah, I'd like to finally be happy with who I am.

Well, I've always been uncomfortable with my body for as long as I can remember, so I just would like to finally feel comfortable with myself. I've never gone to the beach or to the pool without a shirt on, and it would be truly great if I could.
Right now, I'm on the South Beach Diet, which I've attempted and have failed numerous times. Four years ago, I did the Atkins diet and lost 50 pounds, but during the years, I've gained a bit of it back and I would just like to finish what I started.
I'm a 19 year old guy studying Opera Performance at New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL.

Hello Kenny!I'm Deeds and I have been thinking of what to say to you that would help you on your journey, and what I come up with is one Question , some words of advice,and finally some info that might help you. Ok! the question, " Is your resolve strong enough to get you to that status of Opera singer that you want so much? "If your answer is yes, than this is my advice, use that same resolve to obtain your weight goal! And now for the info, The first part of the info is a site " NutritionData.com" When you get there scroll downto " Popular Topics" and click on " Daily Needs' then fill in the info and watch what happens, it calculates your nutritional needs to keep you healthy, then click on a value ex.... Zinc , it tells you the best food to find it in WOW!!!!!! Now for the second part! This Diet my Dietition gave me and I lost 40lbs in2months time. ( no more than65g, and no less than30g of carbs per meal, and you get one snack of 30g of carbs per day ) Now that is for a male. Now if you know of any women who are struggling on a Diet , you can pass this diet on to them, For women ; ( no more than 45g, and no less than 15g of carbs per meal and 1 snack of 15g of carbs per day) For both plans , Remember that meat of any kind have no carbs,but that does not mean that you can go Hog Wild with consumption " Remember Moderation is the Key " Well my friend I know that this was pretty long winded but I hope it helps ,even just alittle, I hope to hear you sing someday, as I do so love my Tennor's.
